Wayne J Chowles MBA, PMP, MAusIMM

Mr Chowles has more than 25 years management experience in underground gold mining, the majority of which was spent in the deep level South African gold mines, and is a product of the University of the Witwatersrand School of Mines.  Prior to immigrating to New Zealand he spent 7 years consulting within the project management and development field to companies such as Anglo American, African Rainbow Minerals, Anglo Platinum and, most recently, working with Solid Energy NZ.

Mr Chowles principal role is to plan and oversee the development of the Talisman underground mine at Karangahake.
